Pimp-up my agenda !

It can sound strange that a so high-tech woman still need an “analogic” agenda but I really love to write, highlight and sketch on paper so every time a new year enters I’ve to change my old one, so-loved collection of sheet with something that appears absolutely industrial and cold…

basically I also hate to spend a lot of money to buy objects as a Moleskine, moreover here in Italy it’s a common thing to gift customers with you own-branded one. Perfect isn’t it?!  So this week I grabbed an agenda from Fausto, my mobile-phone pusher: it has well-weighted pearl paper, perfect pages organization and size and… it’s a little bit impersonal. Yesterday evening, I was checking my todo tasks and appointments for the week and an “art-attack” took me: I had to unmount the cover and personalize it with stamps and collage coming from common art’s magazines.

The process has been a little bit long… first of all I had to select the right kind of material, then – following my own tradition- I had to put in images which is my purpose for the year: integration, mixing up, creation, balance.

As you can see it’s a good style-mixing : Rembrandt,  Hiroshige and an artist I’m unable to recognize (please suggest me the name if you know it!)

Beautiful koi, isn’t it?

This is first-page : I had to mask it too :) I love the “ancient-paper” effect that I’ve created thanks to vinil hue.

So, what do you think about it? Do you like it? :)
