Just two words to say that virtue stands in the middle…

Yesterday I was driving home while Steve was announcing the iPad (7PM local time here in Italy). I could not wait to reach my studio and be connected to look at the new baby…

The pros are really infinite and the iPad ability to reach market segments that are not so “highly-teched”  is admirable and for sure a good chance to have great business. Imagine that I’ll for sure buy it for my mum that really hates mouse, keyboards and strange interactions to simply browse the web. With her finger she will connect, easily, without the trauma to thinking what to do.

The single cons: it owns iPhone OS, that means no background activities and so, no multitasking. This is a bit boring for me, cause I still have to wait for release 4.0. I really need multitasking cause, if as example I’ve to update my blog (really common operation for all internet users) I do need to search and grab and collect WHILE writing the post. Of course, again, only my two cents.
