Just two words to say that virtue stands in the middle…

Few days passed after the iPad presentation and there still are some critical points that cannot be hidden…

As example, is really deprecable that in the first version of official launch-video, during the browsing experience there have been some video manipulation to show reproduced also flash contents. This gave to the majority of internet users (or at least everyone except internet dummies) the sensation of an overture and a really enchanting experience. As a matter of facts, official video has been changed and now it shows the classic blue-bric icon instead of flash contents.

Another significant point in my opinion is the abandon of hierarchical file system: if you notice during the iWork presentation, user has not to browse through folders, she simply has to select a file from something like a Quick View. This means that each application knows which files has to manage and these files are saved into its folder. Moreover iPad will be visible in the intranet thanks to Bonjour app sharing, that will expose all the apps’ folders that have been enabled for sharing. This means, no more need to drag documents here and there (even if I still have to understand how advanced sharing can be managed). Is there an advanced sharing? We don’t know.
