Just two words to say that virtue stands in the middle…

… or, in other words, few news that I find interesting and maybe will be able to shift our life quality.

Today I won’t start by Apple’s products, first of all cause I really don’t want to become boring, second cause the most important news for me is the launch of Nikon’s ultimate wideangle lens! I’m not a photographer, both for my wallet’s size and for the really little spare time I own, but I can say that I’m a totally-addicted to imaging so the born of these two jewels is enchanting me. Let’s have a look:

1. AF-S NIKKOR 16-35mm F/4G VR designed to obtain more nitid images with longer pose time
2. AF-S NIKKOR 24mm F/1.4G ED that’s for sure the most interesting widelense I’ve seen for a while. It enables photoreporters and journalist (or in general users) to have quick, stable, nitid images with a minimum distorsion, and moreover is really dust-dirty resistant. We all know how much important is to have a tool that you can use everyday without being so in trouble for its maintainance.

Frameless screens have been developed by Taiwan’s designers. Maybe for common users this  news is not so important but who has to manage images, colors and so on knows how much important is color and shape interactions. So, absolutely, this is a “to follow” thing. Read this article for more news.

Apple released Aperture 3, a dummy-proof tool that enables users to retouch and manipulate phots. Let’s be honest, it’s not a software designed for pros, however is a good solution to follow the whole-image process without worrying about color profiles and so on…

How about the IPS technology adopted by Apple for the iPad? It owns a long history, cause it was born on 1996 in Hitachi’s research labs. However it always has been dedicated to top-quality displays cause it requires a lot of energy in order to obtain the same color luminosity of a common TFT with TN technology. So… how can this be possible? Maybe LG is the solution. As a matter of facts it released a new e-IPS (‘e’) stays for enhanced, that  is able to assure the same performance with less energy. Obviously everything is under secret so these are only rumors.

Without being boring, let’s continue with iPad: a GREAT news popped out in these hours. Maybe we will be able to run Windows 7 over an iPad thanks to Citrix virtualization. Obviously this is an incredible good news cause all, and I repeat ALL, Windows softwares can run smoothly and securely on this new device. Apple… have a look on it!

Totally changing argument, few stats showed that YouTube is actually killing flat-rate mobile broadband pricing. Of course this is a good point for all the data’s users but can cause a real damage to internet providers. Read it.

Social networks are a worldwide phenomenon nowadays well-assumed and known by everyone that has to manage internet’s life. We all know facebook, twitter and flickr but I must admit that today’s news is google’s BUZZ. This absolutely demonstrates how much envy this giant owns and I’m not really sure it will defeat existing ones even if “it is Google”.
