I always have difficulties when I am asked to describe myself. Better to use a classical approach, so as to thaw the ice.

I was born in 1981 and currently I attend information science at University of Milano Bicocca.
I think it was an excellent choice because it allowed me to join my passion for the pencil with the power of digital art and communication. This is where the roots of Aurea Mediocritas reside.

I want to show my attempts to concile these two characteristics which have been too superficially defined "the warmth of the pencil" and "the precision of the pc". I hope to obtain some positive feedback (because I admit my vanity) but I seek mostly critiques and incentives that make me go on with this experiment.

Often they ask me if I attended drawing lessons or if I am enrolled in art school (Belle Arti).
No, I never had the fortune of attending a serious course, what you see is simply the fruit of my passion and my application. The desidere to be able to apply myself only to art even for a brief period of time is great but at the moment my life style does not allow me.
Well..another objective to accomplish ! :)

What do I do apart from drawing and reading ?
Well...I go fishing :)

I pratice agonistic fishing since I was 18 months old and now it is part of my DNA. Going fishing for me is a ritual, a way of finding myself and to reconcile myself with my many memories, to gain strength through them.

Living in Milan I am constantly immersed in the chaotic life of a metropolis, with it's smog it's frenzy it's obligation to accomplish always at all costs and by yesterday. The batteries run out soon and my nature pushes my towards calm and I will admit it, meditation which only silent places and "non human" can allow me.

Another great passion of mine are cars.
Even as a child I was raised in close contact with all kinds of cars and as soon as I was able I learned to race drive. At the moment I am approaching the world of motorbikes which for family reasons has always been denied to me, but I admit I am having difficulties because of the very high costs involved.

In closing I leave you with my photo toghether with my cousin (who is from Venezuela) and my mother. It was taken in my uncle's tavern last christmas. In that way l hope not to receive complaints regarding my 'visual absence', but I am not responsible of damage to the retina of viewers eh 8) !
